Resting Athlete

Note: Took these when we went to Brad's spot, in one of the awesome rock overhangs.

Purpose: To take one shot without any flash, to show how the normal ambient light looks. Second shot was with filtered flash (Rosco Full-Sun) and a filter over my lens (81C, warming filter) to make it look like sunset--when it's actually mid-day. Third shot is to make us practice shooting both horizontally and vertically, just in case that's what the art director (hypothetical) prefers. Oh, and to take a model and dress them up as athletes (in my case, as a rock climber--of sorts).

Set up: Flash was about 12 feet away, set low and with the power ratio on the back powered down to make it look like low and dark sunset lighting. Filter over the flash (Bryant was holding it) and a filter over my lens (that I was holding over my lens), filter names/brands listed above.
